Support Worker - (Full-Time)

A Support Worker provides assistance to individuals who need help with daily living tasks due to physical, mental, or emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities:

Daily Living Support:
    • Provide assistance with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
    • Support clients with mobility, including helping them move around the house or community.
  • Emotional and Social Support:

    • Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
    • Help clients participate in social activities, hobbies, and community engagement to reduce social isolation.
  • Health Monitoring:

    • Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or mental condition to healthcare professionals.
    • Assist with health-related tasks such as taking medication, using medical equipment, or attending medical appointments.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain accurate records of care provided, changes in conditions, and client progress.
    • Liaise with family members, healthcare professionals, and social workers to ensure the client’s needs are met.
  • Safeguarding and Advocacy:

    • Protect clients from abuse and report concerns according to safeguarding protocols.
    • Advocate for clients’ rights and ensure they are treated with dignity and respect.
